A buddy of mine has an 84 GMC1/2 ton with a blown 305 v8 with power steering and a good auto trans. (dont know what trans is yet)
Do these parts Ie: power steering, auto trans, power brake booster fit my 1972 GMC with the original 350 and manual steering?
Any help is appreciated gang!!!
also , Ive offered him $350 for the whole truck. Is there anything els I can salvage for my 72?

1 power steering. it will work but the pump brackets won't work with the short water pump pullies that shoud be on your truck. You can get the correct bracket or change every thing over to long water pump stuff. The long water pump brackets are actually better.

2 Tranmission. It will fit but you need to find out what it is. It is more than likely a 350 with lockup converter. They are crap IMO

3 Brake Booster. It could be made to work but it is in no way a bolt on affair. There are a couple of people on this board that have installed later model boosters, maybe they can help
