Re: "Flames" Blazer on Ebay
The flames on a black background seem like a wasted effort. I have a project that could go red or white--would love to find a cheap set of "feathers" decals so I could do it white like the one that sold on e-bay last week. Retro maybe but truly original!! Factory authorized dealer installed option! Neato!

Re: "Flames" Blazer on Ebay
I saw these for sale once about 15 or more years ago at Carlisle.N.O.S. in the original oatmeal can package.Unfortunately,my money didn`t stretch far enough that day.Not that they weren`t cheap enough, they were priced in the "who would want`em" range. It`s just when I go to a swap meet,I have to make sure I buy enough fuel to make it home before I go in.I can starve and be dehydrated and walk my legs off till I get home. But,if I walk(or crawl)out of there with a dollar bill somethings wrong. There`s always a decal or some licence plate nuts on the way out.
You should try to get a painter to replicate them.I liked the white one.

Re: "Flames" Blazer on Ebay
They remind me of what IH did on their big trucks in the late`70s when they came out with the "Eagle" model. The semis w/sleepers had a grafhic eagle on it.

Re: "Flames" Blazer on Ebay
If you had the $$ you could get a set made as there are speciality shops that do that kind of stuff--but it wouldn't be cheap!! Have seen one or two with actual flames--not quite the same as the smoke kind of hids the effect!
Tell me about the (spend every last dime at a swap meet). I've been know to have to plead stupidity at toll boths! |
