Shouldnt one bend one way, and the other to the other direction? Seems like one should bend the other direction to me , but i dont have a clue.

That's the way they were installed from the factory with the sharp bent hooks and both pointed the same way and correct on the later year 72's. They are harder to find. I would trade you my set of factory 69-72 straight hooks off my 72 K20 for them.

Those are correct for 72 only and are the hardest to find. The other two styles go in opposite directions.

I think chevrolet must have eventually run out of one of the hooks or somethin, because i have come accross two sets of hooks, and they were the same hook. I got a set at a yardsale from a guy who didnt even own a 67-72 and they were both turned the same way. I ran into a similar situation at a swap meet in sedalia, the guy had only parted out one truck, and also got two that curved the same way.
