rubber cab and radiator mounts
Seems like this is a pretty popular topic, but i was wondering if any on has a detailed drawing or pic to show the order on the wasers rubberframe hangersand also what the radiator mounts look like i have some new ones but didnt come with any instructions or pics oh yeah for 67 2wd 1/2 ton. the main rubber bushing i have there is a metal bushing that sticks out about an 1/8 is that the top or bottom? any help would be appreciated Ron

There is a big hole in the frame mount. That 1/8 metal bushing surrounded by rubber sits on top of the mount and fits down into that hole. I got my kit from GMCPauls but I don't think it came with the big washer that sits on top of that (it goes between the mount and cab floor. I cleaned mine up and reused them. Under the frame mount you put the triangle rubber piece. Put the metal sleeve between the two. I coated mine inside and out with anti-seize in hopes they won't ever rust again. Put your bolts throught using a washer at the bottom of the triangle piece. The bigger bolt goes on the front, the smaller one to the back. I did this last weekend, check this thread out:

I used the pictures out of an LMC catalog It worked out well

here are the mounts i have i am guessing the two on the left are for the radiator support but the metal insert is to big to fit in the holes on the frame bracket thanks ron |
