Re: any problems with header clearence when Lowering?
I had the front lowered 5" and had the full length and it was alright. I just did not like the look of the headers hanging down but I never hit.

depends on the brand of headers and your driving style

All the full length headers I`ve used are no lower than the frame rails. You just see where the tubes are collecting in the wheelwell where the frame turns up,coolness IMHO.

I know right out of high school mine hung down like that and it wasnt in park good on a conctrete parking lot and rolled off the edge. When I pulled it back the headers hung and broke the motor mounts and pulled the driveshaft from the tranny, but Im much smarter now.LOL

Re: any problems with header clearence when Lowering?
My truck is lowered about 3" in front and 4" in rear. I run Hooker Super Comps and I measured the very bottom edge of the collector flanges tonight and got 6.25".

Re: any problems with header clearence when Lowering?
I think my front is dropped about 5" and with Hooker Super Comps I only have 3 1/2" to bottom of flange. Didn't realize they were that low till I read this thread and measured.
