Bought my self a present....

For when the new interior goes in, they came up on anther forum at a good price used. Its an REaudio (Resonant Engineering) RE8 8" sub and an Alpine MRP-M350 Mono amp to power it, amp puts out 350W at 2ohms so it's more than man enough for that little sub. I need to find a decent 2 channel amp to run a set of fronts now. It'll probably start off running the pair of JBL GTO 6x9's I have in the doors at the moment but I might go to a pair of decent components if a set come up at the right price.

First I gotta fix the rain gutter leaks and fit some new rockers and repair the kick panels so it's dry inside, then my new carpets can go down and then the audio stuff can get fitted.

I've got 2 RE Audio 10's in my silverado and they're great for the price. You'll like them

Re: Bought my self a present....

Its just to get a little better sound quality in the cab, I'm more into rock than pumping rap or dance music so I don't need (or have the room for) a whopper of a sub. I am sort of a bit deaf from too many rock concerts when I was young though!

My wife has just bought me one of those little Sony HDD walkman MP3 players, fascinating little gadget, I'm still loading stuff onto it (its a 20gb one) Sound quality is excellent. I like my music.
