Yep..you would need the 4x4 body mount kit to mount that 2wd cab on the 4x4 chassis. The 3/4 tons, 1 ton and 4x4's all use the same bigger body mount rubber bushings. The difference is that there a taller rubber bushing. You'll need the same bigger bushing for the rad cradle also. It's a sepearte kit by some suppliers

Mike;

Rod is correct, you'll need the 4x4 mounting kit to put the 2wd cab onto a 4x4 frame. The cab it's self is the same with the exception of the removeable high hump. All 4x4's had the high hump. Some 2wd had the high hump depending on motor & tranny set-up. You have a choice between rubber & polyurethane. The rubber is softer and has more flex to it, the poly is darder and has less flex. Some kits come with all the hardware, bolts, washers & nuts. Others don't. There are several venders & links to their sites on the main page. Contact them to find out what their kits include.

Re: 4x4 cab mounts ???S

i have always been told no matter what the cab,,use the mounts for the "frame",so yes you would need 4x4 mounts..i bought mine from summit and the only bolts that came with it were the 2 rear bolts because the new mount's are a different design than the old one's and use a shorter bolt..

Re: 4x4 cab mounts ???S

I just ordered a set from summit for my blazer, but they have em for trucks as well it was $78 with all the bolts, nuts, washers, and urethane bushings. Ask for the Performance Accessories kit, it is part #11008 for the 69-72 K5. It is the same as energy, but has the hardware. The stock kits cost almost $200 with hardware, so this kit is the way to go.
