value?
i have an 86 2wd lwb pickup with 49k miles on it. it is two tone blue and silver with a 305 and o/d, pl, cruise, manual windows. the only thing changed is the radio which is now an alpine cd player. i am the 3rd owner and am thinking of selling it. she is probably an 8.5 out of 10. i dont have any pics right now and its cold as hell out so itll have to wait till tomorrow. but by the description what do you think it is worth?
thanks keith

Re: value?
I think its only worth about 1,000...better let me buy it heheh.
J/k man..depending on shape...which it sounds like its purdy nice..I would not be surprised to see you get between 5-8k market depending and just if it happens to strike someones eye! Only thing that might not help it bring more is the LWB vs SWB ...it will have to be a cash buyer...the bank will only loan about 3k on it most likely.

Re: value?
That's a sharp looking 86 . I really like the paint scheme. Is that an original paint scheme or did you have the silver added?

Re: value?
Looks really nice man...I dont think you will have much trouble generating interest in it at that price. as long as they have cash in hand..shouldnt be a big deal.
Good luck man!

Re: value?
Is that truck really worth that much? I only ask as I've seen other trucks about which their values have been questioned quoted at lower prices by board members. Is it the fact that it's nearly completely stock?
Heck, I'd sell my '85 C10 in a flash if I could get $6,500 for it...and I think mine is pretty nice Maybe these trucks are worth more than I thought and have seen go for. Later, ilg14 |

Re: value?
The condition and mileage and the fact that its unmolested and stock are big selling points. As well as one owner.

Re: value?
I agree with dave, my stock 86 always gets request from people. I ask why mine when it is setting right next to my sons hopped up show truck, they all answer their looking for something completely stock like mune with the original paint, heck it even has a dent in it and they still want to buy it go figure.
And yes you have a nice truck, I'm sure you'll get pretty close to what your asking.
