dznucks,
Note that the manifold in the picture is NOT a 4x4 manifold. Most Blazers are 4x4s. Before you plunk down any money make sure you are ordering the correct one. (If your blazer is a 2wd please disregard this post)

Re: Looking for an exhaust manifold

I see that you live near "nowhere" so that narrows things down a bit. But if you live in the southeast or out west where there's still a few of these trucks in a junkyard... call around. I got mine from a 'yard for $50 for the pair. They were nice and rust free. If you do need the 4x4 ones (don't know the difference) they might be hard to come by in a 'yard, but it's worth making a few phone calls.

Re: Looking for an exhaust manifold

I bought them off of ebay before. The aftermarket ones aren't too badly priced. Or, to state the obvious, try 1A Auto.

Re: Looking for an exhaust manifold

1A auto does have the best price for new $ 50 + 15 for shipping . Why not subscribe to the board and post a WTB , I'm sure several members will offer one for sale. If you are not in a hurry , sooner or later one will be on e-bay.

Re: Looking for an exhaust manifold

i just bought one from 1A. i had my eye on that one before it broke.... competely.
a complete new exhaust system is what i am saving for and i was hoping that my current crappy plumbing would hold out long enough. well it didn't.

my cross over snagged a speed bump and sheared the manifold of completely. tried to weld it back to get me by (cast iron is a lot of fun to weld!!) not really. let just say i did a better job on one side than the other. that became clearly evident when i reinstalled it.
at least it is only 3/4 broke. but i got to have something now so i went ahead and got it at 1A. i'll let you know how that goes.
