Re: Ebay Blazer Prices!!!!!!

Dang, that door looks like something I would have done in high school!

Honestly, I'd rather have a rusty truck that has NEVER been repaired than a truck that has been repaired, at least you know what you have. I've been burned by shiney new paint jobs...

Re: Ebay Blazer Prices!!!!!!

This is a great thread

I live in CAlifornia, North and Central... havent found anything 1/2 as nice as the one in question for "$1500-2500" - when you see one nicer then that 4 sale in cali PLEASE let me know!

C'mon, he said it has a new window, that's about $500- right there, and the parts are "cheap stuff" - i wish $500 was cheap stuff to me!

Yea lets go delete one of the better threads we actually have!

Who's mad? I'm not mad.... in fact I think everyone is close to agreement.... My point if missed, this truck is about equal to mine in some respects, and here, the price is about right.

Re: Ebay Blazer Prices!!!!!!

The blazer I'm driving is the only first generation I have ever come across here in hawaii for sale. I've been living here for 37 years and have maybe seen
four driving around. I was looking for a 67-72 truck and was suprised to find this blazer advertised as a chevy k-10. I hope the prices climb even higher.

Tim, what this shows is that e-bay is a very dangerous place to buy "restored" vintage vehicles especially if you are not in the know. I think the winning bidder will be very disappointed if he/she has a clue! My .02

Unfourtunately that blazer has "hidden/future" issues written all over it.

Re: Ebay Blazer Prices!!!!!!

Uncle,I see the point of your post. It`s not that a Blazer like this can`t be worth $4500(even w/o a $2000 tach?).But,a putty bucket? And,they give you a close up of putty smeared with a cereal spoon? What go to hell color is that, factory matched? This looks like a "made for Ebay" Blazer.C`mon suckers!!

Both of mine came through this board, GQ from a member, and
the Roadster through a thread on the Blazer board by Bouncy.

Re: Ebay Blazer Prices!!!!!!

The flip side of this is that I tried to sell a Suburban and a Blazer through this board and recieved lots of; can I have a pict of this and that and this other thing and oh I think I'll pass, then I put em on ebay and get what I was asking? I agree with those above this thing has a ton of bondo and will fall apart, but we all know shiny paint sells a car. I also understand the seller's claim of "pro bodywork" If you get paid for what you do, you are a pro. Right or wrong he paid a guy to do that and therefore that guy is a pro bodyman, its all in what you believe. I wouldn't buy that thing unless it was cheap, but most people are out of sight out of mind people, if you cover the rust, then it doesn't exist.

Re: Ebay Blazer Prices!!!!!!

I have had several nice things not sell here because everyone is
looking for a bargain, and I sold them either locally or on Evil Bay
