diff and or rear end paint

well guys and girls i am thinking of painting my diff cover and or the whole rear end. right now the cover is a redish i was thinking of that and the rest black and or painting it all chevy orange. any thoughts?

I painted mine pink with yellow flowers on it-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OF course it's black

I just painted mine with chrome spray paint. Looks OK. Too cheap to spring for the real chrome one right now. I will see how this holds up first.

I used a Rustomleum primer and gloss black paint. Looks better IMO.

thanks alot guys i think now i am leaning toward a red cover and semi gloss the rest and maybe paint the bolts silver on the diff cover for the extra kick. or just semi gloss it all and paint the diff cover bolts silver

Chrome covers are OK, BUT the chrome will impede the transfer of heat to a small amount. Black paint helps to radiate heat the best, or get an aluminum (pricey) cover which is the greatest in heat transfer.
