Air Management

So, I’m starting to buy my air system. So far I’m going to run Slam bags, RE7-single ½” port, all the way around. Using Air Ride control arms up front. My questions, what line should I go with, ½” or 5/8”? Also plan on running at least two 5 gallon tanks, with a compressor on each one, what kind of compressors do you guys like the best? Last, what values are easy to work with, pretty fast, and somewhat dependable. Any suggestion will be helpful, Thanks

Re: Air Management

I have 2 5 gallon tanks, Oasis Compressor, 1/2 valves, 5/8 orffice, 1/2 line, 170 psi switch, slam specialties re & rs 72 bags. I like it and not quite finished. I also ran 12 valves, 8- 1/2" for lift and drop and then 4- 1/8 for slow drop so my Accu Air can control its height adjustment!

You don't need anything bigger then 1/2 line. - Take a straw and blow through it, now take a fuel line and blow through..... can you tell a difference. I would suspect the straw had more force..... The big line is pointless unless you have enough pressure. Also your system will only be as fast as your smallest part.

Re: Air Management

I dont want it to hop, but I would like it to be pretty fast. So, I need 8 valves? they only work one way? Or does someone offer a two way valve? Thanks again for the help

Re: Air Management

you need one valve for filling the bag and one to deflate it now you can get valve blocks which have just 3 lines attached to them 1 air goes in from your tank, 2 air goes to the bag from the valve, 3 a small line to your gauges so you know the preasure.

anyways a valve block has two valves on it so you one for inflating and one for deflating, no need to run double ported bags or a 'T' some where between the fill valve and the bag so you can run your deflate valve..

i hope i did not confuse you because i sure did myself
