Question Vortec Temp sending unit????????

Someone had the same question as me a couple of days ago. I cant seem to find a temp sending unit that will fit and work with my guage. Does anyone make an adapter or something. The hole where it goes is smaller, and if you try to buy the correct one for the year of the heads they are for computer crap. Need help soon! Really would like to see if the Vortec heads make any differance

How about in the intake, is there a fitting that is old style in size?

Someone had the same question a few days ago.
I have the same heads on a 71 K20 that I need
to get a sending unit for.I can't remember
whose reply it was, but they used a sending
unit for a 1987 chevy car or truck from Kragen's.Said it worked great.I have not tried that yet.

Went to Home Depot and got an "adaptor" for about $1.50 . I'm going to try to put it in tomorrow, I'll post the results of the entire stock to Vortec head swap tomorrow.

Good deal LuckyMic,I also bought fittings
from the local Home Depot, then got home
and found out I didn't have enough clearance
with my headers.Really like to find another
sending unit.
