What size tire is standard for a 72 C-30

Can anyone tell me what size tire I would need to replace tires on stock rims for a 72 C-30?

Thanks.

Could be 16.5" wheels, which I *think* were 8.25-16.5 tires -- some one will correct me if I'm wrong, and there may have been optional tire sizes.

If it was one that came with 16" rims, it probably came with 7.50-16 tires.

if 16's: 7.00-16 or 7.5-16 bias ply
if 16.5's: 8.25-16.5 or 9.5-16.5 bias ply

I'm not a tire expert though. Is this a dually or SRW?

7.50x16(235/85) or 8.25x16.5 were standard.

if you have the 16 inch and not the 16.5 and want to go to a more common tire i'd reomend a 235/85r16

Re: What size tire is standard for a 72 C-30

I just bought a couple 215/85/16's for the front of my C30. I haven't mounted them yet. Seems like people on here run 235 or 215 85 16's. They are General AmeriTrac's. Got them online at the Tire Rack. They were on special. $86 a piece I think. $30 shipping. Cost me a total of like $200 delivered to my door.
