Re: Cheezie(like B.King commercial) thing you did to your truck

I had a 83 nissan lowrider p/u with a canopy, in the back of said canopy I used black tar paper for window tint, threw a twin bed in it and used a zebra looking bed spread to top it off, this was prep work for my first prom when I was 15...geeeezzzzzzo!!!!

Re: Cheezie(like B.King commercial) thing you did to your truck

My first car was a '65 chevelle convertible... painted '71 corvette red w/white top... Ok,... looks really cool until I mounted dual, yes, dual antenna's on the rear quarters... you know, one on each side like the early impala's... Oh, and I had the rear airshocks maxed out constantly... Oh, black nagahyde interior with matching velvet pillow complete with red velvet chevy emblem... then driving around with the top down, heater blowin' when it was 4 damn degree's out... just 'cuz I thought it looked cool....
P.S. That was in 82-86... I found the old car again 2 years ago... Boy does it look stupid today... and no, he won't sell it.... Doooht.....

My 65 Barracuda and it's one day hand painted glory.

BTW 8-tracks were not cheesey...they were cool...at the time anyways.

I will admit nor disclose any further reprecusions my vehicles had to live though in human error design

What does that say on the hood??? It looks like you painted "Turd" on your rear fender.

Yes it did say Turd...actually my friends girl friend added ie (Turdie) to it and that's what we called the car. We had a weee bit much fluid during the painting. On the hood it said Ethel....after the song "The Streak"..which was playing alot on the radio during the painting, so it ended up on the car. Hey, what can I say, it was the 70's.

Re: Cheezie(like B.King commercial) thing you did to your truck

my latest cheezie item: the black rattlecanned racing stripes on my 69's hood, complements of a friend, painted yesterday.

I swear, it wasn't my idea! (I walked into the shop with a gas can in one hand, a look of astonishment on my face, and he had tape on the hood, and a rattlecan in his hand. Oh the horror! )

and as for the stock tires up front, big mudders in rear, a friend of mine's red 80 dodge 2WD is like that... what a BIG PIECE OF that truck is!
