Re: 465/203
I have a good set-up here in Florida... I wish you were closer. What do you want to swap it with?

Re: 465/203
Those are rarer then Hen's teeth, made 1 year that I've heard, 1973.
Be sure it's an NP203 and not a NP205 transfercase. |

Re: 465/203
Going with a doubler setup, I would recommend converting the 465 mainshaft to a 32 spline, available from ORD. I do however have the correct adaptor.

Eh, all about ethics Also, some less informed people don't know the difference between a 203 and a 205. Last edited by FormerMember; 03-04-2006 at 12:33 AM. |

the problem with those 203's is that more than likely, they're auto's from behind a Th350 which will be 27 spline input. By all means, grab them... then buy either the mating 27 spline output shaft for your Sm465 or 10 spline (?) input gear for your 203 low range. Either way, it's a wee bit spendy, as they're tough to come by or custom from ORD. I would go at least 27 spline. When I built mine, I used a 32 spline 203 with a th400 then to a ford 31 spline NP205. |
