I am gathering up parts to put a 67 chevy pu front end ( sheetmetal) on my truck. I have a 67 hood,grill,and fenders. But here is my question. I do not have a 67 core support. But I do have a core support off of a 1972 chevy also 1 off of a 1971 GMC. Can I use one of them ?? Is there any diffrence ??
It has to be a 67 ????? Im will to make little changes if needed. THANKS !!

I know you cannot use the 71 Chevy support but believe the GMC support will work on the 67-68 Chevy but you will have to take the GMC headlight buckets off it. I believe they were spot welded on and aftert taking them off you can use the buckets for a 67-68.

I will say FOR SURE there is now way a 69-72 Chevy will work even if you remove the headlight buckets.

Not sure about the gmc.

I used a 68 gmc rad support on my truck (67 front end ) & all the holes were there. Had to drill out the spot welds for the gmc headlight buckets.
