Grill paint ideas?

My 67 GMC is now painted baby blue and I need some ideas on what to do with the grill. My first thought was silver with satin black inside, but now I think that would look too much like the original chrome grills in some GMCs. I was thinking maybe body color, but somehow that seems overdone. I'm looking for any ideas/ pictures to be different without being gawdy.

Re: Grill paint ideas?

How about a metallic looking paint like in a darker grey so it doesn`t look like it`s trying to be chrome? You know, like a spray-cast,argent, or charcoal.Another idea would be a pearly,flip-flop white.

Re: Grill paint ideas?

If you have white bumpers, the white grill would look better than you'd think. Lends to a stock or even base model look, but IMO, it is about the only paint that looks good.
