Re: 73-87 small back window cab

I think all the 2T truck cabs had small windows, so it is possible.

Seems kind of backwards, but it would be different. You go first and we will tell you how it looks...

Re: 73-87 small back window cab

Thanx for the pic, Brad2.

I been searching for it, but couldn't find a electronic pic of Stanford's rendering. I think it ran during one of Truckin's series of 73-87 articles last year.
Interesting concept...a bit retro
The bumper looks good too.

Good luck, 61burb. I hope you pull it off.

Crowley, eh.

Re: 73-87 small back window cab

Have no idea where crowley is but i'm in junction and my friends semi bone yard just happens to have that cab laying around....i'm going to snag up the dash cluster here in a couple of days...i could ask what he would want for the cut out section.....

Besides being different i kinda like the idea myself...the 1rst gens did and it looked pretty good to me...but it could be a beauty in the eye of the beholder type of thing....

Yeah, I remember that article and rendering. That's the one I thought of when he brought up doing a small window conversion. Sorry, but it doesn't work for me.

BTW- Stanford said that the rear bumper came from a 73-80 van, which is not true. There is no such bumper....

Glad I am not the only one that thinks of doing that change to the cab. Good Idea i would do it if I had the time just to confuse people.

Too bad.

Well, just send Sanford's rendering to the buyer....

Like N2 said, I also don't think that it's from a 'old style' chevy van. It doesn't have the same profile (and no cutout for the license plate). Maybe, a newer style van that's been sectioned???

Closest that I've seen, comes from the older style F*rd vans.
