Remote Power Door Locks
Who has put these in, and if so what kit did you run? I think the best deal I found was the Autoloc kit, it was around $99.00......anyone?

Re: Remote Power Door Locks
I have not done the kit, but I would like to. I have heard that autoloc makes a quality product, but I have no experience with them. If you install one, I would like to hear about how you like it. It might even make a good article for the board or 73-87.com.

Re: Remote Power Door Locks
Why not get an alarm that comes with this feature?

Re: Remote Power Door Locks
I thought about the alarm. I know autoloc has great solenoids, and I know they make this set up available with an alarm, so maybe I'll do some more research.....

Re: Remote Power Door Locks
Sorry I haven't responded to your PM asking about this. I guess this will do just as well. Stoked Out installed the AutoLoc remote kit in my 77. They have had great results with anything by AutoLoc. The locks come with a 4 function remote so you can control other features as well. Currently all I have is the lock function, but I plan to add remote start now that I have a fuel injected motor....

Re: Remote Power Door Locks
Check out this website I found....they want $177 for the full system with door locks and alarm. I've never know anyone with an autoloc alarm....I think I'll just buy it. Seems like a good deal, it retails for $225 on the autoloc site so i'm saving a bit.
