what to do about dash cluster not working

Hi All,

I have a section of the dash in the 67 that is not working. If I move the green plastic electrical(printed circuit board) part of the dash, I can one of the non-working dash lights flicker. I assume that the printed circuit board is broken. Is there a way to repair this or is it easier to buy a new one to put on my cluster?

You can do what I did temporarily for my truck and bridge the burnt/damaged section with solder. It worked, but I wasn't proud of it, if you know what I mean.

Be careful not to melt the green plastic all to hell.

It's better just to buy another one. I did and everything works now.

Possibly, but it could be a grounding issue, check the two little screws at the top of the printed circuit near the speedo and fuel gauge to see if they are tight. If that isn't it I would look the printed circuit over for breaks and replace if needed, and BTW I will have the printed circuit, used if needed....Randy
