Re: 67 GMC Diesel C-30

cool -but it does not look like a V8 diesel - probably a typo. Did GM even make a small 4 or 8 cylinder diesel back in 67? Would that be a powerglide behind it for the 2 speed trans?

Re: 67 GMC Diesel C-30

It's a small window cab with newer longhorn sheetmetal. Maybe a Cab/Chassie dually axle the way the rear tires are tucked under the bed? I'm guessing maybe a 6cly out of a large delivery truck? But then I don't know a whole lot about that kind of stuff. I bet it would tow anyting your brave enough to hook to.

Steering column is fudged up. That would get to be a PITA after a while.

It's a V-6 Toroflow, 351 or 478.

That looks cool, what makes it not a 67 GMC though? How can you tell from the picture?

Re: 67 GMC Diesel C-30

Guys, from the looks of it he's running a 4spd backed by a Brownie 2spd. Never was around a Toro-Flow, but I haven't heard much good about them. A few were around in New Idea Uni systems, but I haven't found anyaround in in them or trucks. But if they run like a gas V-6 I'd certainly want one!
