Can you convert a D44 8 lug single

Can you convert a d44 single wheel front end to the one ton rotor for a offset dually wheel? thanks Mike

There are adapters to run Budd wheels like on a 1t/Dana60 on a 3/4t Dana44.

Those type of adapters are also used on all the newer duallie pickups ('88+) with IFS.

I couldn`t say for certain.If you find some,measure them.They may be a different length/offset for the track on those trucks.The single wheels on IFS trucks have less dish.So,either the dual rims or the adapters could be different.I know the wheels look different from earlier ones.Maybe you could hold up a Budd wheel to your old truck and get an idea of the range of length that will work before you go lookin`.The lug pattern is the same.

They should be the correct length. All GM Budd (dually) wheels have the same offset, and all of the GM 8 lug single rear wheel style wheels (all years) have the same offset. The center hole diameter is also the same on all of these wheels.
