Just started of my own custom car shop here in the Netherlands.

I am looking for vendors who can provide me with new and second hand parts.
I sell all Chevy /GMC and F#rd (pardon my french) truck parts in my store.
No BS. I am very serious about making my store a big hit here in Europe.

You got my business for good used 67-87 Chevy truck parts and some Fords...lol And other stuff..95-99 cavaliers i have 5 of them here..And S-10 blazers 83-94 parts too...Just ask me and i may just have it...lol

If you come to the States.........I am thinking about getting rid of all my trucks parts except what I need to do my 68 4X4 burb and a swb. Lots of sheet metal, small odds and ends, drive train, engines wiring etc plus see list below

Wow, there must be a large market for older US trucks in the Netherlands. I just sold my suburban to a guy in Netherlands. It was shipped and has already arrived there. It's hard to beleive with your gasoline prices, that there would be a market for them over there. My burb had a 454 BB.

Almost all older truck get a propane gas setup in them.
The gas is very expensive but the propane is very cheap, so they just convert them.

That makes so much sense if propane is cheap. There must be an abundant supply of propane in your region. Do you convert the smaller engines also or mainly V8's?

The dutch goverment wins his propane from it's own gasbubbble in the ground.
And we do convert the smaller engines also. It depends on how much kilometers a year you drive.

Is it more difficult to convert newer cars to propane? Is that why older cars are becoming more popular over there?

No if you want to drive a car in my country you will have to pay road-taxes.
The heavyer your car is the more you will have to pay for your car.
That's why most people in Europe drive small cars(low taxes).

If your can is older than 25 years it becomes an oldtimer (collectors item) and will become road tax free

.
So if your car is from 1980 it doesn't matter how big or heavy it is no taxes

Ah.. now it makes sense why the gentleman from Netherlands that bought my suburban was looking for 1973- 1979 suburbans.

He already had a couple and bought another 2 including mine a couple of months ago. He even sent me pictures of it arriving there. I was thinking "scam" at first, when I got a long distance call from Netherlands responding to my craigslist ad, but the transaction went pretty smooth, unlike most craigslist transactions locally.

Yeahhh

But the only thing is I have to set up a website where i sell parts (a lot of work)
And I have to find vendors for parts!
It's easy for you guy's overseas to get in contact with wholesale dealers for parts.
I have to do with LMC truck

for my import parts.
And they won't give me any good pricing on there parts.
Soooo.......... anybody got some idea's?????

It appears like we need to be sending boat loads of parts over. I'm in Galway, Ireland right now and have not seen one single truck, new or old.
