Re: Collection of lowered truck pics and info?

My Blazer pic is in avatar or Oct 2004 TOTM. Don't know how to stick it here.
It is 5" in front with 3" DJM spindles and 2" coils. 4" Belltech drop shocks.
It is 5" in rear with DJM flip kit and C notch by me. 6" Belltech drop shocks.

Re: Collection of lowered truck pics and info?

Here is a pic of my 77. Sorry for the quality it's from my phone. It started off as a 5/7 but I cut a half coil up front to lower it a little more and installed shackel and hangers. Hopefully I will get a camera soon so I can post some better pics.

Re: Collection of lowered truck pics and info?

Here's my 77 Cheyenne. It has 3" DJM spindles with Firestone bags in front. In the rear it has a DJM flip kit, shackles, and all but two of the rleaf springs removed. It has Firestone bags in the rear too. The wheels are Billet Specialties "VinTec". In front they are 20x8.5 with 245/40/20 BFG's and the rear is 20x9.5 with 295/40/20 BFG's.

Thanks for sharing guys. N2trux, do you have any pics with the bags inflated to your ride height? At least I am assuming they are dumped in your pics.

Re: Collection of lowered truck pics and info?

Ken, Is that second picture by the lake an old one or is it new ? I dont remember that exact shot . I would really like to see a pic of it at ride height when you get it back . In the picture with the rear bags aired up a little ....tell them to get the front tires bolted on the correct side ! I am just kidding about the tires but thought it was funny . I am sure they have been on/off many times with all the work you are doing to it . Frank

That’s awfully low for a static drop. How do you drive that thing on the road? It looks great, though.

Frank the pic by the lake is an old one. I rarely post that one because I like the 3/4 front view so much better. Yeah, the other was was taken at Stoked Out right after the suspension work was done. They did get the tires running the right way....

Ok, this is ride height in the front...

Re: Collection of lowered truck pics and info?

Someone should start an thread that is just dedicated to complimenting Ken. It seems like every time he posts a pic the thread gets hijacked by compliments.

Just kidding, I love the truck too!!!

Actually for being that low it isn't all that bad, other then the fact that I can't drive over road kill without my a arms hitting it. But I just have got to be careful of railroad tracks, speed bumps, and pulling out of any driveway. Thanks for the compliments though.

Re: Collection of lowered truck pics and info?

Ken , If you ride around at that height too long you are going to have to wrap some 20 inch Terra Grapplers around the Vintecs . Frank
