Would these work on a 69-72 Chevy truck?
These were posted earlier this week and look pretty cool. http://www.nwautofab.com/store/custo...6&cat=3&page=1
Does anybody know if they are made for 69-72 by anybody?. This place doesn't make them.

Some people on the forum have made similar items for their truck. I've seen a few pics. I think I might have em on my work computer.

I would love to have a set in mirrored stainless. They look like they would be easy to make.

Re: Would these work on a 69-72 Chevy truck?
I don't think they will fit the 69-72 since they switched to the more upright hood design.

Re: Would these work on a 69-72 Chevy truck?
I BOUGHT A SET. THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD. THEY COST ME $80 DELIVERED. I THINK THAT IF SOMEONE HAD ACCESS TO A SHEAR, BAN SAW & SOME KIND OF BREAK TO BEND THE RADIUS, A PERSON COULD MAKE THESE EASY ENOUGH. I'M CONSIDERING POLISHING & POWDERCOATING THEM BLACK, TO KINDA MATCH MY RAD. SUPPORT. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP WITH AIR FLOW THRU THE RADIATOR, WITH THESE CAPPING OFF THE TOP, & AN OEM GRAVEL GUARD ON THE BOTTOM OF THE RAD. SUPPORT. IF NOT ... OH-WELL... IT'LL LOOK COOL.

John, which one of your trucks did you buy that for?. I agree that would be easy to make.
