How to install or remove the funny looking fasteners?

How do you remove and install the "S" shaped clips that are used for the trim pieces like tail light bezels and tailgate trim and other molding pieces on our trucks? How do you attach the trim pieces to the clips?

Hard to explain - easy to do. Just twist the clip so it's wedged under the lips of the bezel/trim. The little springy thing keeps it from twisting back out. Then just slide the clip where it will line up with the hole and push it in (or if it has a screw stud, install the nut on the back.

Just play around with it, until it looks right.
