tow hooks
I know the 72 and back had factory tow hooks but what about the 73 and up. Did those trucks come with factory tow hooks and if so would they fit a 72? Anyone know? I have a 73 4x4 parts truck with tow hooks and I was wondering if they were factory and would they be worth anything. Thanks

yes and no, yes, the 73 up had factory tow hooks, but they are a different style than the 72 came with. I'm not sure what it takes to make them work with the 72's yet, I haven't gotten that far.

A 73 3/4 ton i parted had factory tow straps you hook a chain hook to them, they bolt in factory holes in the 73.they also bolted onto my 79 Blazers frame, its a 2wd ready to fall to ground so i unbolted them, dont really need them, doubt theyd be a direct bolt up to 67-72.i dont expect to be pulling stuff out of the dirt, hopefully it will barely make it over the railroad track crossing!
