Re: stuff for sale

Motor was built down by Pittsburgh. I bought it for my mud bog truck. They cancelled the event for this year. I just heard they may have it in a different spot, but now I could use the money. I painted it black and put the intake on it. That's about it. I normally build all of my own motors, but for this pirce, I couldn't come close to building it. As far as shipping, you would need to get a shipping cost from my work dock at 16316. There would also be a $75 crating/palletizing fee. Brian

What Compression Does The Motor Work Out To If You Know. Also Any Idea Of The Approx Weight Of A Long Block?

Re: stuff for sale

The compression was just a hair over 10:1. With the cam, there should be no problem running pump gas. I'm guessing the weight with pallet would be around 600lbs, but I could be wrong.

Re: stuff for sale

Pistons are hypereutectic (sp?). They are Keith Blacks. The emblem was a 2500 v-eight (I thought both were on the emblem). But I'll double check tonight. It came off of a 71 gmc 3/4 4x4. Brian

Re: stuff for sale

Eric, I'll check the condition tomorrow. I was in a hurry tonight. I could just put it in a bubble pack and get it out to you (free). How's that for a deal? have sold a ton of emblems. I'll keep my eye out for emblems now that I know you collect them. Brian

Re: stuff for sale

Chuck, I know. I've managed to scrape up some more $. Now I'm just figuring out about the rest. I thought I had another cool item for ya, but the guy hasn't called me back yet. And speaking of Fury......did you find me one? I almost bought one on ebay today (63). It was a screaming deal and not to far from me. Not even sure how I'd pay for it. Someone hit the buy-it-now within hours. Oh well. Now that I'm a mopar man you need to find me some mopar stuff........and wait until my house is done. My dad still has the Belvedere. It's running/driving. Getting ready for the paint shop.

Re: stuff for sale

No. I sold one of them about a year or two ago. It killed me. I got about $20k for it and there's no way I could replace it for that. The only car I'm going to get rid of is the malibu. Brian
