rebuilding my engine

i bought a (p.o.s. it turns out) 350 chevy to replace the 6 in my truck (83 gmc shortbed) awhile back. got it all running and found the oil pressure low and burnin some oil. finally got the time to pull it out and tear it down. f*** !! oil pick up fell out when i pulled the oil pan off. not a good sign. crank fried. 4 bolt mains a plus. getting it all redone. $500 for heads with hardened seats installed. $300 to get block machined. bout $230 for a new eagle crankshaft including delivery. $350 for an engine kit from northern auto parts. moly rings, hyp. pistons , all bearings and freeze plugs, roller timing chain, gaskets, and a crane cam and lifters. another $450 to have the trans redone. f*** ! now i am gunna have to fix up the rest of the truck ! lol ! ill post some pics when i get a chance.
