88 k1500 with 245k, any input

Just a follow up. I passed on the 305 with 240k on it with 4x4 and reg cab. I actually found a 90 gmc ext. cab 2 wheel drive with a 5.7 and 150k with auto trans. Only rust on cab corners, (good place to get those??), Drove it home 85 miles and drove like a dream. Nice clean interior. Like I said only rust is cab corners and small dent in box. Has hard lid as well. Only $1950. Thought this was an awesome deal. I got it from the second owner who had it four years. Prior to that the original owner kept it garaged in winter as was down south with his camper and only drove in summer. Had little log with every oil change/trans change etc.
