Non-tilt Steering Columns
Does anybody rebuild the non-tilt columns? I have a pile of small parts for non-tilts. Bushings, thrust washers, upper bearings, screws, shift bowls, signal housings, lower bushing blocks, gear lenses, PRNDL1 housings, fiber optics, light sources, etc. Also 3 non-tilt neutral safety switches(Delco).
Also have 3 outer masts, 2 shift tubes. Several wire gutters. Have 1 powerglide column with N/S and reverse and PRNDL. Most of this fits in a shoebox(my wife loves Nordstoms) and would be easy to ship. I don't need this stuff anymore. Way too much stuff. You can have it very cheaply plus shipping IF you will use it. Prefer to ship to one location Don't flame me for not posting a price - this just an "interested?" thread. Thanks - Bob

Re: Non-tilt Steering Columns
Howdy!
Saw your post about non tilt steering parts. I am currently refurbishing a column for my '67 stepside, and have been pulling my hair out (whats left of it, anyway) over the need for (especially!) an intact fiber optic for the shift indicator. Was going to shell out the tariff for new bearings, but heck, ifyou are offerin', I'll redo the second column as well! Please PM me, and see if we can get together on this. Thanks much! cowboy33713 |

Re: Non-tilt Steering Columns
Cowboy is the only one interested in non-tilt? Every one else has tilts then? These parts are going to be very cheap(almost free). Don't all answer at once.

Re: Non-tilt Steering Columns
My truck is a non-tilt, but I won't be sure for awhile of what parts I will need. This sure sounds like a good deal!
