Bed panel removal help!!

OK I got my box taken off and all stripped down sitting in the garage. I bought a new front bed panel for it as the old one had a smallblock 305 attempt to go through it and it had a pretty good hole and dent so a new one was definitely in order. I took out the 12 bolts that run down the sides, and then probably another 12 bolts that run along the bottom.. Once you get those all out it frees up but you have to pry on the fenders to get that sucker to come out. I'm pretty sure I didn't pull the old one out correctly as I bent it to #%it pulling it out. Anybody know what else I have to take off on those side fenders to get the new one in properly without bending it? All help would be appreciated.

Re: Bed panel removal help!!

i always take out about 6bols or so on each side that hold the floor to the side panels ,going back to the fenderwells then you can spread the side panels enough to get the front panel to slip in

I am taking apart a bed myself. I couldn't get the panel out until I loosened one side enough to spread the side walla apart
