Re: Coilover Shocks

One of the suppliers like chevy duty, ECE, etc has a conversion setup for the rear trailing arm 67-72 trucks. As a note I have a set of Alden Coilovers 13" eye to eye that can be used, I had taken them off my 67 with a 4 link setup. All that would be needed is to fab up some brackets.

Re: Coilover Shocks

I know classic performance makes some for the rear never seen them for the front. Anyone use the ones from CPP how do you like them?

which set would you like? I am not sure how you would use a set of coilovers for the front with stock upper & lower control arms & you can not mount them where your old shocks are located, I would think it would be cheaper & easier for you to just buy lowering springs or spindles. I was always told you can do anything you want if you have time, money & will.

Re: Coilover Shocks

I have to agree with Bowtie67 I have a front IFS kit with coilovers and dont see how they could be used with stock arms.

I also have the rear coilover kit from cpp. It was really easy to install and they look good.

raidermanny how do the rear coilovers function? Good? did you get the 4.5 inch drop ones? looking at this for my daily driver soon. Wondering how the ride is.

Re: Coilover Shocks

If they can put an airbag there with a shock I would think that a coil overs wouldn't be much of a leap.
I would check with Chris Alston or Art Morrison, the street rods use them a lot around here.
Just a thought
