68 gmc backspacing
I am looking at new rims for my truck (1968 gmc 3/4 ton 4x4) and have heard that 4.25" backspacing works the best but for the size and brand rim I want all I can find is 4.438 backspacing . The truck has 73+ running gear as well
currently the truck has 33x12.5x16.5 I want to go with a 16" for the safty lip these are the rims http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...4&autoview=sku

Re: 68 gmc backspacing
I would think that less than 1/4 inch of back-spacing on new wheels compared to old ones wouldn't make a difference. .188 of an inch will make no difference.
