I am dynomating my floor and doors. I do not want to remove my fuel tank can I stick the dynomat to the outside of the tank? Think it will help any at all?

I don't think it will help much sticking on the outside of the tank. Heck, the sound and hear are already in that by that point. One thing that i've learned is that anything worth doing is worth doing right!! good luck to ya

Well I am looking at it more from a keep sound in from my speakers once installed. I will more than likely just do the floor and doors and kickpanels.

I would yank the tank out so that you can clean it out, before dynamat. I got a lot of junk out of my tank, and I'm still getting fine particles in the fuel filter. Oh ya, you will also need to replace the filler neck grommet too, because you will have to cut the old one out. Just my .02.

I think it's Dynamat, not Dynomat. I could be wrong.
It won't help to do the tank. The whole principle of Dynamat is that you're adding weight to a metal panel so it's can't vibrate as easily and therefore it cannot relay noise by resonating. If you do not mount it to the outside body panels that you don't want to resonate/transmit noise, it defeats the purpose.

if you have a headliner, might also want to think about the roof and other items. meanwhile, check out this how-to w/pictures from ECE's website:
http://www.earlyclassic.com/tech.asp...%20Rods%20P6-2 it will give you all the instruction you need w/pictures and everything. follow it to the letter and you should be good to go. word to the wise: get a rattle-can of Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator and take a wire brush to and spray any rusty spots on the floor before you lay this stuff down. Once it's on there and sets, you gotta take a heat gun to it to get it off. good luck!

I would think that deadening the tank would be a good idea.
The tanks mounting points transfer outside vibrations to a big metal container inside the cab. Imagine all the sound resonating from near empty tank. Like having a big metal drum in there. I'll be applying Edead to nearly everything.
