6.5'' van rallys?

I mean 6.5'', not 6 12'' wheels, sorry. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone is running some of the 6.5'' van rallys with a 245/60/15 tire? I want to suck my front wheels in even with the rears to make up for the drop spindles. I don't want to buy new tires, my T/A's are fairly new, but I don't want too much bulge on the tire. BFG recommends a 7-8.5'' wheel but I wouldn't think another half inch would be a big deal. Any pics or suggestions?

Re: 6 12'' van rallys?

I had 225/70s on the front of mine on 6.5" rallys. dont know if that helps. I my 75 I had to run a spacer so the wheel wopuld clear the caliper. John

I have the van rallys with 245/60's on the front of the Neater Beater. Picture is in my signature. I can find you a better picture if you need. No spacer on mine, bolt on.

Surely, you can find better pictures to store on your computer than that truck.

Sick you are sir. Well, you must be nuts for my junk then.

It's funny, none of the guys at work will park next to it. They think it will rub off on them or someting.

Most of the guys here at work drive 50,000 + dollar new trucks. They like to buy a new diesel 4x4 and lift it up and then add every power adder they can find. I'm definitely the black sheep.

Re: 6 12'' van rallys?

I'm driving a 93 Nissan Sentra with 220,000 on it to and from school (120 miles round trip) every day so I can spend every dime I save on truck payments on my 67. It's really not all that bad, I have an 02 Dodge 4X4 club cab for those long towing/ parts runs.
