FS 69-70 Truck Bucket Seats (Northern California)

$350 plus shipping. May be able to deliver to Southern California or Arizona. Reproduction passenger seat mounts. Missing the little rod that connects the two track locks together.

New price: $250 plus shipping. If nobody bites, it's off to ebay.

By the way, it costs $115 for aftermarket passenger seat brackets alone.

I'll go first in line, based on shipping charges to 30127 on DHL or GreyHound?
For Greyhound the destination is Marietta, GA. Thanks, Dan

I'll weigh and measure the seats this evening, and let you know. Thanks.

When you get the box sizes and weight, let me know and I'll get a quote from FedEx ground. I will need your address and zip for the quote. Can they be pick-up at a or your business. Thanks, Dan

My zip code is 95377. The easiest thing would probably be for me to drop them off at the nearest FedEx facility, which I believe is in a Long's Drugs here in Tracy. Let me go do some measuring and weighing.

Re: FS 69-70 Truck Bucket Seats (Northern California)

Here's the weight and dimension info:

Driver Seat = 35 lbs
Passenger Seat = 32 lbs

Packaging will add more weight.

I think it makes sense to ship these in two separate boxes. Otherwise they are going to be way oversized. With the mounts removed, the smallest size box that the seats could fit in (each seat in a separate box) would be 32 x 22 x 21. The biggest box that The UPS Store sells is 24 x 24 x 24 for $9.75 each. I suppose I could combine two of these boxes per seat, but I'd need four boxes, and that's getting kind of expensive. Another option would be to patch together miscellaneous smaller boxes essentially to wrap the seat in cardboard and lots of tape. I can probably scrounge up enough free boxes to do this.

It looks like FedEx Ground will be approximately $40 per seat plus another $0-$20 per seat for boxes for a total in the $80-$120 range.

Let me know what you want to do.

Re: FS 69-70 Truck Bucket Seats (Northern California)

Is there a business that you are friends with that I could have the seats picked up on a pick up ticket by FedEx? They will do it at your residence, but it is much easier at a business. If I have the info on the Long's Drugs, that will probably work. Just wrapping them in cardboard well with a lot of tape would be fine. I'll send some extra for the tape. Thanks for working with me on this. Thanks, Dan
