WTB: Heater control delete

I removed all of the ductwork on the inside of the firewall this weekend to scrap, sell or trade. I need a delete panel for the hole that is there for now. Eventually I might craft up a bracket to hold some gauges there, but until that time comes, I want to cover the hole.

Anyone got one FS?

Here they are. I laid them next to a radio delete for comparison. The mounting tabs are different and they are slightly different in size. I had the firewall block-off plate at one time. I've never had any defroster blanks, but I've heard that they exist. Brian

Re: WTB: Heater control delete

Looks like mounting tabs istead of clips. Also appears the corners have a larger radius. What a cool part to have. The 1st 67 I owned had only 1 sunvisor - the passenger side had never been cut. I don't know why I mentioned this but deletes always make me think about that. Several years later I found a visor delete in a van. It was a molded plastic triangular plug that fit in the center hole and had 3 small bumps to fit the 3 screw holes. It even had a GM part number molded on the back side.

Re: WTB: Heater control delete

I'm going to mount a CD player where the heater controls were and install a radio delete plate so I don't have to cut the dash.
