68 Chevrolet clip on my 72
I would like to put a 68 Chevrolet clip on my 72.
From looking at the parts catalog I think I need: 67-68 Hood 67-68 Raidatator support 68 Fenders (I want the marker lights) 67-68 Bumper 67-68 filler panel (Grill) Am I missing anything? Does anyone make a reproduction filler panel (Grill) for the 67-68?

No one makes the grill aftermarket wise. Only the original parts, and finding a nice one is somewhat difficult. Good Luck.

The hood latch is different, trim rings for lights, trim rings for grill, and there is a support between the grill and radiator surround you will need.
As far as a repo grill, I'm not aware of anyone making one. I think that's about it... Good luck and welcome to the board, Roger

the grille isn't reproduced yet as stated above.
Nice bare grilles tend to go for about $100 or so |

I am doing the same to my 71. If you already have a nice bumper, you could use that and eliminate the turn signals from the grill. That would save you the cost of a new bumper.

Re: 68 Chevrolet clip on my 72
I purchased the entire front clip with lights et all for a 68 that I am using on my 69. No rust with exception the front right fender inner area under the battery.
Cost 400, needs no body work. I would look around if I were you. Check all of the pick and pulls. |
