Talking Wow what a Birthday Present....

These were just dropped off my the frieght truck. Well you can't see what they are, but the seven boxes contain;

New Mar-K step side bed sides no stack holes no tailgate latch.
All the cross sills
Two new step side fenders
A rear roll pan
Bed hardware
A free Mar-K t-shirt

Everything was very well wrapped and arrived undamaged. Maybe I will have the truck assembled and ready for paint by the end of summer.

Thanks Mar-K, Oh yah thanks to my wife for buying them with my credit card.

With shipping $around $2,000.00. Probably a little more than needed to fix my old bed, but now its all new....

Re: Wow what a Birthday Present....

jugernot,
Just a "heads up", on those bedsides you want to decide what tail lights and brackets you will be using before you mount the fenders on them. I was happy to be able to get bedsides without the stake pockets, but I did not know that they did not come pre-drilled for the tail light bracket mounting holes. That is why I now have the '55-'59 tail lights on my truck. I was not cool with taking the fenders back off to install the correct original tail lights and brackets.

Something to consider!

Dean

Nice parts but I heard the metal/body guy is real slow at finishing stuff. So you might as well just give me the parts for my project since it COULD be done before yours

When you are ready I have a cab dolly for you on a loan untill you are all painted and back together

Thanks for the heads up. I have something special planned for the tail lights and I think I will look really cool. Sorry no hints, you will just have to wait and see.
