FINALY, a new plastic model!

AMT is releasing a 72 blazer model!!!!!! up until now the only one was the old boondocker that gos for ebay for 50 dollars plus. here is a pic of it



it is scheduled for release in april and the part number is AMT 21638


I pre-ordered 5 of them. lol

That is the Boondocker kit. Model King cleaned up the molds and retooled the top, but it is a reissue of the Boondocker...

What 9 year old is going to be interested in the model when his dad has 2 real life size ones to pick from

I've only found 1 site that has them, e-mailed them, havent heard back yet. Search AMT and the part number listed above together and you should be able to find the same site i have. Strange it was the only one i've found with it though... didnt look hard enough. I found an orig. model box still shrink wraped in plastic for $80 on a website, and it looks like 2 old ones on ebay.

Is it just me or AMT portraiting K5 owners as white trash!? The fine print says the trailer in the background is not included, but is offered in another kit!? I want one, but I'll shoot for one color, at least the model will look nice even if my driver doesn't. Wait, maybe I am white trash, cause my Blazer is multi colored, except I don't live in a camp trailer.
