The saga continues!
Last week I was having problems with my battery dying after installing a new Grant steering wheel. For now I have given up on the idea of having a horn that works. But now after removing the the guts of my column 100 times, I lost my rear flashers, the flashing indicators in the dash and my Hi-beam indicator!. So now, I'm going to just put it back together minus these things and drive it. So Barn9, what do you think of Grant?,LOL. Hey Zkast, did you ever get any pics of your horn mod?. Thanks for listening to my rant..........

BRAD,
I have the Challenger 440 model with 4 chrome spokes. That looks similar to my 91 s-10 wheel I removed.

I have run several grant wheels with no problems. my longhorn has a flat spoke "woody", & has had several others. The early grant(superior ) had troubles with th horn button popping off over potholes........then the horn was blowing! but I havent had any troubles with the signature series wheels. I have a sig series like on E bay on the kids ranger........it was a "hand me down", ran on my longhorn for several yrs before the kid got it. Best I can say is check for any pinched wires,& good luck.......crazy AL

I have a grant wheel on my truck and I have not had a problem with it. I had to trim the plastic insert for the horn so it would not get hung up. Make sure you have the right installation kit for the 67-72 truck. I know they are a little different.
