Vortec Heads
I am looking for some information on vortec heads.I would like to put a set of theses heads on a 350 sbc and I was wondering what the head #'s I should look for to use. I think I am going to look for a set from the auto wreckers. Any information would be great.

Don't know the numbers, but if it came out of a 96 to 98 it'll be a VORTEC. Maybe later as I forget what year the 5.3 came into play.

Casting number ending in either 906 or 062.

ebay is a great place to find them. be wary of cracked heads, make sure they carry a warranty.
