Re: Windshield install

Call a windshield company and have them do it.

Re: Windshield install

Well that is just totally out of the question for me.Cause they won't let me help
Besides the more money I can save, the more tools I can buy.

Re: Windshield install

trim or no trim? trim needs to be installed into the rubber, then the rubber onto the glass, then use a wire to put the rubber lip over the windshield frame. use some lube and take it slow. almost like installing a bicycle tire.

Re: Windshield install

piece of cake...have trim...install trim into rubber gasket.now slip windsheld into trim.install thin rope at top all the way around to the bottom from both sides. use dish soap to lube the gasket all the way around..in this grove...place into position
bottom first...have a second person push as you pull the string and you will see the inside lip popping in out side person keeps moving and pushing as you pull rope
all the way around untill complete.done
