Re: You ever see your old truck and wish you had it back?
I've tried to get the guy that bought my yellow 69 on the board, but I don't think he's gotten on here. At least that way I could see the progress up close and maybe help him with it, even though he's not the kind of guy I'd probably hang out with.

Re: You ever see your old truck and wish you had it back?
When I was 14 I bought a '84 S-10 regular cab LWB with a 3.0 l buick in it. Fixed it up since it was extremley butchered by the PP. Drove it on my 16th birthday realized that it wasn't exactly what I wanted so sold it in November and bought a '90 extend a cab SWB with a 4.3 l in it. Fixed it up in time for when I could drive by myself in July, put dual exhaust on it the following summer and wrapped it around an Astro van the next day

I wish I had my '57 Chevy Nomad back. It was all OE with power pack. Needed the money at the time and sold it for only $2,400. in 1984. Drove like new. Hinesite.

Re: You ever see your old truck and wish you had it back?
i did buy back my 84 chevy 4x4 silverado..ist owned new..sold it in 93 and found it in front of a small bar 10 miles from my house in 2000..i walked in,asked who owned the red 84 out front? one guy said "i do,why?" i than told him that i was the orig owner and wanted it back..so,after a few"many" beers we struck a deal...she now sits in my garage and is recieving a new crate engine right now..still retaines it's original paint!taught my 1st son to drive in it when he was 12 years old..he's 30 now and wants it bad..

Re: You ever see your old truck and wish you had it back?
I've had the reverse happen. I bought a 1977 Bronco from a guy who's wife and kid "cried" as I drove it away. I later got an email from him asking if I was ready to sell it back to him. I still have the Bronco, but will give him first refusal if I ever sell it.

Re: You ever see your old truck and wish you had it back?
The only one of my old cars I ever bumped into again was my first Alfa Romeo Alfasud, sure glad I didn't still have it as it had broken down and was being pushed by two blokes. I do kinda hanker after my first car, a 1969 Mk III Triumph Spitfire.

Re: You ever see your old truck and wish you had it back?
My Dad bought this truck. Sold it to my sister Linda. She drove it for 2 years then sold it to my sister Julie. She drove it for 3 years, then sold it to me. I restored it, sold it to my neighbor, neighbor lost her job 2 weeks after buying the truck so I bought it back. Sold the truck back to my sister Linda 2 years ago. She is still driving it but it's not nice anymore....they are hard on vehicles...so NO, I don't want it back. Last time I saw it, it was starting to chuff out a little oil....
