Interesting find (rims)

I know a while back in a thread the idea of having a set of rallye's chromed came up.
So I am a Craigslist whore. Today I see an ad for a set of chrome chevy rims. I open the ad and this thrift store is selling a set of four 15x8 chrome truck rallyes'?
So I went and looked at them. He was asking $125 so I offered him $100 and he helped me load them in my Blazer.
These pictures aren't the greatest but give you an idea.
*Edit* - forgot to mention that they appear to be new. Doesn't look like they have ever had tires on them or been mounted.

Cost more than that to have a set chromed.

Re: Interesting find (rims)

They got stickers and such on them so I assume they are available to buy from somewhere - just don't know where?
Is it wheel vintiques that has all the different off-sets, widths, etc for steel wheels?

KevinR 1970: Thinking back Elcamino mabe 1974 had a wheel real similar to the one in pics? May be mistaking but sure looks familiar.

Re: Interesting find (rims)

I'm thinking stockton wheel does some of this type of work also.

I wanted to put some aftermarket wheels on the chalet but of course the wheels that came with the chalet when i bought it years ago and let go because i had to keep her factory are the ones i want. And of course they aren't in production anymore. I had a set of champ 500's style wheels on her with the 5 big holes...of well...hind sight is 20 20 they say...
