since every other state has a truck club, i think we need to start one here, always een playin with teh idea, then met a gu this weekend that jsut bought a 72 tep from teh original owner and has owned three of these trucks, he was fired up about the idea, i think i could get at least 5 people definately, then theres LAP, 72sub, and LUZIMAN, let me know guys. taled to a guy today with a 55 step that wa interested, know a couple with 73-87's, we could call it the 47-72 truck club but we would welcome any chevy, theres plenty of places in baton rouge that would let us have a little show, let me know what yall think

It might be good for swapping parts, and helping out, but I live in Milton (Lafayette). Also, it will be a while before I'm ready to show...

Hey southern compadres, you might get a little 'weather' coming your way. Unless you're far enough inland where hurricanes can't reach. Don't want any of our truckers having to drive out of the gulf of Mexico.

It seamed like a good day to visit my friends in Houston. We'll go back and see what damage is done tomorrow.

Hey, I'm ready. My truck's not, but it's getting there. I've got family in Baton Rouge, so I'm sure that I could be there for a meeting, or show every now and then. If nothing else, people could bring progress pics of there trucks. It would also be a great way to locate and swap parts, and keep everyone motivated on there trucks.

Luziman here. I don't mind a club, but my truck is nowheres worth showing to anybody. I couldn't even make it to the spillway with my truck, much less to Baton Rouge. It's a long slow project/daily driver, sometimes I barely keep it running, although I am building a mild 433 for it. And I did a front disc conversion on it last year. But I'm afraid it will probably be ugly for years. Maybe to share ideas, parts, labor, ???. OK, I'm in. Let me know.

I'm interested. I just settled with the insurance company on my 4x4 SWB. They gave me $4,000 and I get to keep it. We need to link up at the Walker meet one night.
Any of y'all noticed the red Cheyenne Super on the road by Live Oak High? Looks all orginal and the guy still drives it.

when i said "SHOW" i didnt mean hat they hadto be show trucks, hell, mine loks ten times better in my avatar, the squeaking is louder than the exhaust and right now it has no front after rad. suport, orange hood, primed fenders, pretty ugly, i'm gonnapost a pic later, but everyone is welcome, i might pull my 72 3/4 ton on a trailer just to have more trucks there, i'll letall know. by teh way, this hurricane sucked, barely any wind, we picked up everything for nothin, but at least my house didnt get crushed

My wife thinks I sick because I like them all, beaters or show. Hands down I think 67-72's are the best looking truck ever built!
