I've done almost everything to this truck....except solved my windshield wiper issues ! ! Oh yeah, they work fine, but I cannot get them to stop in the right place! I'm on my second motor now, and still I have no luck. I've tried moving the arm off the motor 180 degrees and resetting everything and that made it worse.

Can somebody give me a clue as to what the heck I am missing? Diagrams, setup step by step, some new cuss words to use.....SOMETHING to help me out? I cannot believe I have come this far to be screwing around with the dog-gone wipers of all things ! !

They are wired wrong or the yellow wire is broke some where. When you turn the wiper switch off the wipers are still getting power until they reach the park position on your windsheild. When they reach this spot a set of points in the motor are opened by a lever to cut the power. When you turn the wiper switch on again the points are then reset closed.

When the motor stops, the arm should be pointing straight over toward the driver side. Is that where it's pointing?

Also if I remember correctly, the two linkages that the motor arm drives are not the same. I believe there's a right version and a left version. Maybe you have those switched.

Motor arm is pointing toward driver side but more down than over....if that makes sense. It always stops in the same place, but If I put the wipers on the posts in that position, when I turn it on it will pull them down into the cab drain pan, (where all the linkage is). Both motors have done the same thing. ???

When the motor arm is pointing toward the driver side, where are the little arms that are on the backs of the posts that the wipers mount to pointing? On my truck, both post arms point down toward the driver side, maybe at 4 o'clock. The wipers are all the way down in this position.
