Stock Radio Speakers
Some of the parts catalogs list different AM radio speakers for Chevy and GMC. Any idea what the difference is?

Re: Stock Radio Speakers
I don't know what the difference is, but I bought an NOS speaker from this place about a month ago for $40 (part number 1262).

Re: Stock Radio Speakers
Are you planning on using an OEM radio? If so, the speaker needs to be 8-10 Ohms. I tried using a speaker from Autozone that said 4-8 Ohms on it, and it did not work. It was super buzzy and muffled sounding with my OEM radio. That's why I ended up getting an NOS speaker.

Re: Stock Radio Speakers
Thanks for the tip. I have a real nice AM, but the more I think about it the more I'm headed to one of those retro-looking modern stereos.
